Dutch Mid-Century Modern abstract oil on artist paper still life painting, created by Lex Metz (Dutch, 1913-1986). Metz was a Dutch photographer, draftsman, graphic designer and illustrator who also taught at the New Art School in Amsterdam, the Academy for Art and Industry in Enschede and the Rietveld Academy.
The painting has slight creasing on the paper. Signed by the artist and marked with an embossed stamp on the lower right corner.
